Niklas Weissbrich
About Me
My name is Niklas Weissbrich. I was born in Mainz Germany where I lived until I was nine. My family then relocated to East Clare, Ireland where we still live today. I attended a Waldorf (Steiner) school both in Germany and Ireland before attending Scarriff Community College in east Clare for my secondary education.
Immediately after completing my secondary education I began my studies of Interior Architecture at the Institute of Technology Sligo. I have just completed a 1 year add to the 3 year ordinary degree (Level 7) to gain a BA Honours (Level 8) in Interior Architecture from the Institute of Technology Sligo. This relatively new qualification is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA).
I have worked independently on several small scale residential projects as well as a local pub in east Clare Ireland. I worked with Clare County Council Planning and Enterprise Department on a 9 month contract as a designer for key locations within their new development plan. I am currently working in a small architectural firm in Co. Clare.
I am interested in gaining international architectural experience to potentially further my studies in the future. I am self-motivated, hardworking and consistently strive for perfection.
